Landscape Project Manager

At Alpine Landscape Service, we are the leading landscape construction and service company in Grand County, CO. Since 2005, our team has been dedicated to providing property owners in the area with outstanding services, no matter how big or small the project is.

We are looking to add dedicated individuals to our growing team. Our Project Manager position is open to applicants who live near our office in Winter Park, CO, or in a nearby area like Fraser or Tabernash. Our Project Managers are primarily responsible for managing all landscape construction projects from start to finish.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all scheduling aspects of landscaping projects, including equipment, materials, staffing, and trucking
  • Take charge of a team of 2-3 members 
  • Ensure each job is running efficiently and on schedule
  • Job cost each project throughout, making sure all paperwork is turned in and followed through with
  • Have direct contact with the homeowner or general contractor and office manager to ensure proper communication throughout the project
  • Assist in any change orders and communicate them clearly
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and safe jobsite and work atmosphere
  • Communicate daily with managers
  • Facilitate daily 5 min stand up meeting
  • Facilitate weekly check-in meeting
  • Create relationships with all vendors
  • Maintain all equipment
  • Assist in creating an equipment maintenance spreadsheet and updating it as needed

Project Manager Applicant Requirements:

  • 5 years or equivalent experience in the landscape industry
  • Ability to manage a budget
  • Ability to job cost
  • Ability to produce a schedule and follow it
  • Ability to train foreman
  • Understand basic computer skills (excel, word, e-mail)
  • Have the skills to adapt and understand L.M.N. to its full potential
  • Ability to operate a truck and trailer as well as back it up
  • Strong knowledge of plant material, e.g., what can grow at 9,000 ft
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards for all aspects of landscaping
  • Leadership skills and the ability to train staff 
  • Have L.I.C.T. certification or be willing to gain it within 3 months on the job
  • Organization skills
  • Must have reliable transportation to our office in Winter Park, CO
